i see always on the part of repentance and redemption UNCONDITIONALLY given. on Yeo's part, Yeo must repent whether or not Shin may forgive or himself be forgiven. which means not demanding justice be met and Yeo be punished. that giveness in the One been wronged in the first place (Shin here) must come first unconditionally.
about the redemption part, esp on the repentence part. and God's benevolence or God's justice (which led to punishment).Īnd i was always thinking. this dramas raised many issues, when it touches on Life and death, love and hates. raised and opened up another locked door in my mind. it gave you insight and completely changed your view. sometimes just by a person's post or reply. see how interesting, when we exhanged ideas and boldly write about it. By the way, since you asked me about the symbolism of cotton, I was thinking to write something about it, yet with a different approach: use expressions (English, German and French) with cotton in order to analyse the meaning of that bouquet! What do you think about it? Sounds interesting or haha. In the end, God wants them to have Faith. Eun Tak symbolises the perfect human in the sense that she never resented God for her hardships, still believed in miracles and in God's goodness. At the end of the drama, I guess, both our protagonists Wang Yeo and Kim Shin will recognise God's benevolence.
He did good, unlike in the past where his misdeeds tortured him to the point, he couldn't live any longer. The more he will protect JET and Sunny, the better he will feel about himself. So since the goblin has disappeared, GR Wang Yeo has to take over KS's role as guardian. Kim Shin as goblin could never enjoy his life as immortal and Wang Yeo as king could never forget the day, when his beloved wife was killed. Notice that Kim Shin and Wang Yeo are similar in this matter. He doesn't need to dwelve on the past, rather focus more on the present and future. In my opinion, it is not just about Kim Shin who forgives Wang Yeo at the end of the episode 13. Nonetheless, KS refused to do it criticising him for remaining the same. He didn't forgive himself for his wrongdoings hence he had no problem to be "killed" by Kim Shin again. When Wang Yeo remembered his past life, he was again mad at himself. These are just my theories that I suddenly thought of when I saw those scenes.Oh my.it's past midnight here.No wonder I kept typing weird words.Anyways,Goodnight immortals!Get a good rest before we tackle tomorrow's heart-wrenching Yes, God's intentions might appear as really confusing but to me, it is pretty clear that it evolves around forgiveness and redemption. Almighty is the one giving questions a.k.a 'fate' to its creations. Its creations have to find answers to them. But these questions/fates can be changed because of a human's desperation a.k.a 'will'.Note that KS only mentions human and not other beings' desperation.Maybe it's really ET who brings KS back to life through her will to recover her memories. The word 'change' also got me wondering that if a strong will can change fate/questions that Almighty gives, this means the answers/ultimate outcome will change too.KS was supposed to stay dead. But perhaps it's ET's desperation that changes that outcome. Her desperation could either be from trying to recover her memories or (if GR didn't lose memories of KS and kisses ET) begging the Almighty to revive KS.
